Science Festival Ahoy!

Since January, staff and students from CASE have been working on Science Shops Wales latest project, the Merthyr Science Festival. With a little over a month to go before the opening, preparations have stepped up a gear with exhibitions and presentations being written, produced and rehearsed.

The main attractions are set to be talks about the science of love, Shakespearean medicine, the power of dreams and an investigation into whether modern forensic scientists could work out exactly how and why Romeo and Juliet died! There will also be a host of exhibitions including a scientific blacksmiths, a medicinal garden and a look at the power of body language. You??????ll even be able to see how light pollution would have affected the skies over Verona!
